Reedukatori psihomotorike u pokretu

From August 8 to 23, five third-year students from the Institut Supérieur de Rééducation Psychomotrice (ISRP) in Vichy, France — Amandine Lhotte, Celia Chalencon, Baptiste Blanc, Simon Triaire, and Narcisse Bazin-Sanou — embarked on a journey that transcends the boundaries of traditional education. Their mission, part of the project “Psycho’Potes en Vadrouille” (Reeducators on the Move), takes them through Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and North Macedonia.

The purpose of the project aligns closely with the vision of OIPR: exchanging knowledge and experiences, promoting psychomotor practice, and fostering intercultural openness, with a particular focus on autism and re-education techniques. The journey began by train using the Interrail Pass and concludes with a return flight — symbolically connecting European cities, practices, and psychomotor science communities.

Belgrade — the starting point of learning and exchange

The program began in Belgrade at the Dr Nestorov Center for Speech Therapy and Early Intervention, where students became familiar with local psychomotor therapy methods and educational processes at the Institute for Psychomotor Reeducation in Belgrade (IRP). Organized in collaboration with NGO Family Care, workshops, individual sessions, and discussions on reeducation techniques for children with developmental challenges were conducted.

We are proud to continue the work of Prof. Dr Bojanin, advancing psychomotor reeducation in Serbia and the region.

The Dr Nestorov Center and Institute for Psychomotor Reeducation in Belgrade (IRP) also serve as the academic and research base of the Faculty of Special Education and Rehabilitation, University of Belgrade, providing ISRP students with practical experience in both academic and clinical settings.

Sarajevo — bridging theory and fieldwork

During their visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, ISRP students and local partners held a professional seminar at Hotel Hollywood. Psychomotor reeducation workshops were led by ISRP students, while Dr Stevan Nestorov and Dr Violeta Nestorov presented new approaches within the psychomotor therapy and its regional dissemination.

Our long-term partner, the Association of Defectologists, Educators, and Rehabilitators “STOL”, has been participating in ongoing training programs for psychomotor reeducation in BiH since 2021. Special thanks go to Dr Selmir Hadžić for his dedication and years of collaboration.

Zagreb — strengthening the professional community

In Croatia, students visited the Vretence Center, continuing a collaboration that began in 2022. By exchanging practical techniques and experiences in working with children with developmental challenges, the project reaffirmed a fundamental principle: knowledge becomes truly valuable when it is shared. Special thanks go to Melita Novinčak.

Skopje — neuro-psychomotor practice and school inclusion

In North Macedonia, the delegation visited:

  • “Einstein” Dyslexia Association
  • Neuroklinik Center, Skopje
  • State School for Visually Impaired Children “Dimitar Vlahov”

Our Erasmus+ “Dys Academy” project is also underway, with psychomotor reeducator trainings provided under special conditions for participants from North Macedonia. The practice exchange in Skopje demonstrated the significant contribution of psychomotor therapy to inclusion within school systems.

The seeds sown — continuity of OIPR’s mission

Psychomotor reeducation, initiated by Prof Bojanin and later aligned with modern European standards through the our work and the OIPR network, now yields tangible results. After ten years of investment in professional training, a regional community has emerged, sharing practice, knowledge, and vision.

This mission confirmed that psychomotor skills are a universal language — the language of movement, contact, trust, and development. Special gratitude goes to the youth who energized this project: students from France, as well as students and colleagues from Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb, and Skopje.

The project “Reeducators on the Move — France–Balkan” demonstrates that this mission belongs not to institutions, but to the people: those who learn, share, travel, and believe.

PORTUGUAL – Aprobación en la Asamblea de la Republica Portuguesa de tres proyectos de resolución para la reglamentación profesional de la Psicomotricidad (E, F, P)

À la fin de l’année 2024, l’Association Portugaise de Psychomotricité, (APP) avec le soutien des universités où il existe un diplôme et un master en Réhabilitation Psychomotrice au Portugal, a lancé une pétition publique afin que le thème de la réglementation professionnelle du psychomotricien puisse être discuté à l’Assemblée de la République portugaise.

Pour ce faire, il devrait recueillir un minimum de 7500 signatures, un nombre largement dépassé.

Par conséquent, les 3 et 4 juillet, la pétition a été soumise à la discussion de l’Assemblée de la République à travers trois projets de résolution présentés par trois partis portugais, et ils ont tous été approuvés recommandant la réglementation de notre profession en collaboration avec l’APP et d’autres institutions intéressées.

Il s’agit d’une étape fondamentale dans le domaine politique, mais il appartiendra maintenant au gouvernement et à son ministère de la Santé de suivre les procédures politiques et juridiques pour l’élaboration d’une législation qui peut conduire formellement à la réglementation de la profession au Portugal.
