The international organization of psychomotricity and relaxation is an Association.
This institution works for the development of psychomotricity in the world.
Created in 1979 by Giselle B. Soubiran, a great pioneer in psychomotricity, and Gérard Hermant.
Its goals are:
- Unite psychomotor therapists from all countries and cultures ;
- Contribute to the development of training for psychomotor therapists by guaranteeing the quality of content and methods ;
- Act for organization, autonomy, and recognition by the official bodies of each country ;
- promote the use of psychomotor and relaxation therapies based on current knowledge and resulting from research.
